BLIGHT-KOSTENKO still with Team Manitoba

 
Lindsay Blight and Natasha Kostenko have made it to the Final 24 players remaining in the selection process for Hockey Manitoba's POE Under 18 team for the 2011 Canada Winter Games. Blight is competing for a spot on defense and attempting to make Team Manitoba for the first time while Kostenko the Caps leading scorer as a forward over the past 2 seasons is looking to return to the squad as she made the Team Manitoba cut for the 2009 Under 18 Nationals. The team will be cut to 18 skaters and 2 goalies sometime before Christmas. The next steps for the Under 18 Female Program of Excellence are a Tournament in Saskatchewan and the University of Manitoba Christmas Break Tournament. See article at below link:
