won the initial Caps 3-3 half ice tournament.

The event saw 3 rounds of 3 minute qualifying mini games with each team playing a total of 12 games.

The Top 2 teams after qualifying play played a 6 minute mini game of 2-3 minute periods for right to

claim the Caps 3 on 3 Cup.
