Former Cap Taylor McVannel was selected for two Sport Manitoba Scholarships.

She received the $1000 University Scholarship and the newly created Bud Tinsley Sport Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship was created last fall, in memory of Robert (Bud) Tinsley, by his family and friends.

The scholarship recipient is selected from among the Manitoba Foundation for Sport scholarship recipients, based on the added criteria of leadership.

Taylor continues to play hockey in the Manitoba Junior Women's League plus played fastpitch softball for Brandon.
